Your time is the most precious thing you can give to the tribe, and we are always in need of energetic folks to serve as the driving force behind our programs.

One of the most effective ways to volunteer is to serve on one of our program teams. Each Piscataway event and program - the powwow, communications initiative, enrollment, seasonal celebrations, etc. - is run by a program team. Today, we have many members serving on several teams at the same time. While we certainly appreciate the dedication of these tireless individuals, we also understand the strain this places on them personally to be involved in so many activities at once. More people volunteering for our teams will allow other team members to concentrate their efforts and make their lives a little less hectic.

There are other ways to get involved, too. Each of the events we hold can always use some extra hands on deck to get things done quickly and smoothly. Whether you're helping to construct a sweatlodge for our seasonal ceremonies, contacting tribal members to attend the powwow, printing materials for our job training programs, or taking the time to tutor a student, your time and efforts are vital to our success.
